Hi...did anyone see Sutton Foster last week at the Pops? I don't remember reading about it.
Thanks to those who shared where to sit at Symphony Hall....I did go on Friday night ($25...how could you go wrong!). Sat on the left almost overlooking the piano. As other have shared, I was extremely moved by Fable and the selections from Parade. Victoria Clark singing with a full orchestra was amazing.
I believe in the original mailing I received from the Pops, Micaela Diamond was supposed to perform.
Unfortunately, Keith Lockhart reading from index cards was the one low part of the evening.
Pianist and Director did join for curtain call....but I'm not sure if people knew who Jason Danieley was.
I hope they do this again next season; the hall was about 75% full. |
