Strange Loop and Kimberly (as well as Hamilton) did go to Broadway pretty quickly, so I think we're partly seeing that musicals are taking longer to transfer to Broadway than they used to, when it was common for a musical to transfer within a few months of their initial production.
Dead Outlaw, like Little Shop, is unique in that it doesn't seem destined for Broadway. |
