ILLINOISE isn't the typical Bway show, but I'm not sure what is--WICKED? LION KING?
If you want to wow kids new to Bway, then take them to a wow show. ILLINOISE is more introspective and, of course, dance oriented--far more unusual than the normal Bway fare.
It's seen through the eyes of a gay man experiencing first love, but that shouldn't be a stretch for anyone nowadays.
Take the kids to more of a traditional, even well known, Bway show over ILLINOISE. |
