At the preview of TOMMY I attended there was a group of people very excited that Pete Townshend was sitting across the aisle from us. Except that is was Des McAnuff. I didn't have the heart to tell them. Didn't FLYING OVER SUNSET employ a tedious "therapy" framing device too? We need to give that cliché a rest.
