What do you do when seated next to someone who smells like a bowel movement?

Last night I was trapped in the center of an aisle when a huge man (are we permitted to say morbidly obese?) landed next to me, spilling so far over onto my seat that I had to lean to the left. Then, as the curtain went up, the smell registered. I guess when you're that heavy you can't reach into the crevices deeply enough to wipe properly. Since this was a Schubert theatre, the seats and aisle was so tight that there was no escaping. I would not have been able to have climbed over him (I'm not exaggerating) and I couldn't get out the other way without upsetting the entire row as the production had started. I had hoped the smell would somehow dissipate. It didn't.

At intermission I fled to an empty seat a few rows ahead on the side, only to discover that the director and set designer had total contempt for sightlines. It was a bad night. I can't judge the performance because I was too infuriated about what I was forced to endure.
