Sad news. But 101 is quite the achievement. Like my maternal grandmother, who lived 2 months beyond her 101st birthday, she clearly led a very full life.
I wasn't born yet when Paige played Babe in Pajama Game. But I do remember her fondly for her few appearances as Denise, the "other woman" (if one kiss counts) to Archie Bunker. The episode where she comes back to work at Archie's bar and winds up having a heart to heart with Edith was particularly touching.
