The PBS website is currently streaming (thru June 10) ''Photographic Justice: The Story of Corky Lee.'' Jennifer Takaki's beautiful documentary focuses on Lee, a beloved photographer/activist who captured 50 years of Asian-American history, which, of course, is American history. Lee covered it all: community festivals; protests for Vincent Chin; ''Miss Saigon'' demonstrations; 9/11 memorials; salutes to Asian-American World War iI veterans; anti-hate crimes against Asians during COVID, etc. And though this film doesn't spotlight it, Lee also shot a lot of Asian-American theater. In 2016, the Pan Asian Repertory Theatre honored him at a dinner, and Kristina Wong's ''Sweatshop Overlord,'' her 2022 Pulitzer Prize finalist of her one-woman show, includes a section about Lee. On a personal note, I knew Corky, who was a great guy. At 73, he passed away from COVID, but his indelible photos will leave a lasting legacy.
