| I agree. I don’t want to see him fail either, and I don’t think he’s untalented. He’s just not as amazing as his handlers, or maybe even he himself thinks he is. I thought he was very good in Dear Evan Hansen on stage and he certainly sung the Parade score beautifully. But, like the film of DEH, this Palace gig overestimates his appeal. I hope he finds projects that help him grow as an actor and that don’t leave him with egg on his face. |
