| Alex Lawther isn't playing Edmund. He was lined up to do the part but withdrew from the production in November (long before rehearsals had begun) citing scheduling conflicts. Anthony Boyle was then announced as Edmund, but he pulled out in February, again before rehearsals started, for personal reasons. So Laurie Kynaston (who had appeared in the title role in the West End production of Florian Zeller's The Son, and as Melchior in the London revival of Spring Awakening) was cast as Edmund. I'm assuming that's who you'll have seen, as I don't believe any of the understudies have gone on yet. |
