Billhaven, thanks for the heads-up on this wonderful podcast about the many trials and tribulations of ''Busker Alley.'' It's fascinating to hear all the backstage drama on how the show brought in Peter Stone to rework the book; how they dealt with Tommy Tune's injury; why the show didn't work, etc.

Also, Barry Weissler dropped some anecdotes about how he went through three sets of writers before landing on Jessie Nelson and Sara Bareilles on ''Waitress,'' and how heartbroken he was by the Broadway failure of ''The Scottsboro Boys'' and was surprised by the negative reaction it got at the Guthrie.
