BroadwayTonyJ, what else do you remember about ''Over Here!''? Their numbers on the 1974 Tony Awards looked lively and fun (video below).

The cast featured Maxene and Patty Andrews, Marilu Henner, John Mineo, Ann Reinking, Treat Williams, John Travolta and Janie Sell, who won the Tony.

The Sherman brothers shared 9 Oscar nominations and won 2 of them for ''Mary Poppins,'' but had no luck at nomination time at the Tonys.

''Over Here!'' (1974): Even in what seemed like a skimpy season, the Tonys skipped over the Sherman brothers' 1940s-style pastiche score.

''Chitty Chitty Bang Bang'' (2005): It looks like the Broadway adaptation didn't have enough new songs to be Tony-eligible.

''Mary Poppins'' (2007): Featured Shermans' classics AND George Stiles & Anthony Drewe's new songs. Score ruled Tony-eligible, but wasn't nominated.
