| I didn’t see it on stage and haven’t yet seen the broadcast, so I have no opinion yet. But if I remember correctly, that four-week extension is a bit of a false metric. Didn’t they announce a much longer run originally, then cut that run significantly in the face of soft demand, then add back four weeks of it? Am I mis-remembering? Obviously this isn’t to comment on the quality of the show, but I think audience demand was less than what producers hoped for. |
