I saw the original production on Broadway and on tour, and it is an excellent musical play. Measure the Valleys is an amazing aria that perfectly captures the theme of the play. I wish there were more productions of this musical. Walter Lee is also well represented in the musical score. And the duet for Beneath and Asagai is stunning.
