If we're talking flop movies with great overtures, the Julie Andrews' musical bio of Gertrude Lawrence, "Star!" has an excellent one. In fact, the musical numbers are mostly excellent.a
Another fun Broadway one: "L'il Abner" is very enjoyable. |
