Thanks, Revned, for the report! Back in 2008, I caught a preview of ''Glory Days.'' The four young guys who played the quartet of friends were talented, but the gentle story was too slight for Broadway (and ritzy ticket prices). Jesse J.P. Johnson played Jack, and he had the show's most memorable tune, ''Open Road,'' a sweet story song in which his character came out to his pals. Below, a young Alex Brightman, one of the show's understudies, sings it.

(In light of the recent All That Chat thread about Broadway flop posters at Joe Allen's, does anyone know if ''Glory Days'' made its walls?)
