I would presume that the transfer is most likely to happen, but it's a little puzzling that there has been no formal announcement and that tickets have not yet gone on sale. March 25 is only 6 weeks away.
Perhaps they are waiting to see who is replacing Elle Fanning. She is probably the biggest name in the cast for many potential theatergoers, particularly younger folks, so the producers are presumably looking for someone who is a name for that potential audience segment. I was thinking the producers might be waiting until the original subscriber run is over, but that ended yesterday and I don't know if that is something a non-profit would care about. |
