Merrily is probably the first very short-lived musical failure to become a commercial hit. I've only been to Joe Allen's once years ago and don't remember if their display of short-lived shows are all musicals with no plays. The original Broadway production of Boeing-Boeing ran only 23 (official) perfs and 1 preview so it would fit the criteria for the restaurant's wall if it includes plays. | |
