Stine has the really excellent opening song "Double Talk" which is very showy vocally and considerably difficult to sing, especially near its ending with high notes alternating with large intervals up and down. Gregg Edelman did a really good job with it vocally, very impressive, though I didn't think his acting overall in the show was particularly interesting. It's also the character starts to fade in its writing. His other opportunities: he duets with Stone on the fun "You're Nothing Without Me" and has a bitter 2nd act number "Funny" which some folks like and others don't really. I think it's a bit out of character for the show in a way which kind of stops it but not in a way a showstopper should. I also find the ending of the show doesn't work -- it wraps things up in a rather unsatisfactory way. Stine doesn't have that much more in the way of character in the show to play, other than some scene work with his wife about his marriage and conflicting writing demands.
