| I found it messy and more than a little obnoxious and ultimately didn't care much for it at all. I think when the cleaning lady started having her young protege "mop up" the conquistador was when I was done, but they really started to lose me at the beginning. Choosing to make it a 10th-grader who was giving this presentation took me out of it. It would have been simple (and a lot more believable) to make this an MA Thesis presentation for a degree in Performance Studies (at NYU or wherever). I'm sorry, but no 10th-grader is reading Leo Bersani. (And yes, I do get that this wasn't "real.") |
