Why would a concert hosted by an original cast member and the guy who wrote the book on the creation of the original (who worked on it) be incorporating revisions from London? And specifically Mackintosh's production, (almost?) every change made for that production has since been abandoned (thankfully).
Given the last line of the quoted section, it seems they are absolutely not doing anything from London 87, but like you I can't figure out why/how it's in special arrangement with Mackintosh. |
