Thank you - the women do end the scene, not Julie. Hammerstein said he thought what prevented the song from having a more popular life outside the show was that it ended with "talk" even though he gave the women "there's nothing more to say." It certainly is a beautiful Rodgers melody. What do you think of the lyrics to the title song Allegro? It almost seems the music is somewhat mismatched with those lyrics. I would be interested in your opinion of that.
