Yes, that is true - thanks. But then, Rodgers chose to give the word "talk" a long note, instead of keeping it short the way Hammerstein probably expected. Which does seem to defeat the purpose.

But also, to clarify - Julie ends her refrain with "and all the rest is talk," and it's only after that, as a button on the scene, the women sing the lyric that ends with "there's nothing more to say."
