Orson's Shadow is being done at Theatre for the New city through the end of the month. I thought it was well worth seeing, particularly at the price: $25!!!
I just spent $99 each on Mother Play and Appropriate, and there's no reason for me to assume that they'll be signicantly better than Orson's Shadow. Yes, the production values will be superior, and there are stars in the cast, and I look forward to both shows.
But I'm always sad when people say theatre is too expensive. Broadway is. Off-Off-Broadway isn't--and it's often excellent. |
