| And in that version of the materials, the score says it's Fraulein Kost, but the script says it's a "Chanteuse." Personally, I don't know why this is what it is and has been ever since, but that's where it sees to have originated. The film, of course, had the song in German on a gramophone, even without the characters of Schneider, Schultz, and Kost at all. |
