Music and libretto adaptation by Jean-Michel Damase from the play Madame Colombe by Jean Anouilh and his ballet Piège De Lumière. With companion piece: Damase's ballet, Piège de Lumière, written in 1952 and premiered at the Grand Ballet du Marquis de Cuevas in Paris. Remastered rom reel-to-reel tapes of a October 6, 1967, radio broadcast in Paris. The ballet was also taken from reel-to-reel tapes and has also been spruced up. Limited to 500 copies only. Lights of Old Broadway

1925 film adaptation of the play The Merry Wives of Gotham by Laurence Eyre. Directed by Monta Bell. Marion Davies, Conrad Nagel. 2K master derived from from the Library of Congress' 2018 35mm preservation of the film, which includes footage colored via three different techniques: two-strip Technicolor, the Handschiegl process, and color tinting. Special Features: audio commentary by film historian Anthony Slide; new orchestral score composed, arranged, and conducted by Robert Israel. 72 minutes. 5/25/21.

Sweet Charity
(Stage Door Records - new on CD)
First time on CD reissue of SAGA Records' 1967 London studio cast recording of Cy Coleman/Dorothy Fields score. Mary Preston, June Hunt, Canna Kendall, Valentine Palmer, Craig Hunter, John Parker and David Weldon Williams. Westminster Sinfonia and Theatre Chorus directed by Frank Raymond. This is the only recorded version to feature an additional cut verse in Charity's song "You Should See Yourself." Also included on the CD release is an extended version of the "Rich Man's Frug" which was recorded during the album sessions but went unreleased. Digitally remastered from the original studio master tapes. Limited edition of 500 units only.
