I channel both Hart and Harburg in much of my work. For example, such shows as CHARLOTTE SWEET and LUDLOW LADD continue Hart's tradition of rhythmic dialogue. Ironically, when he was alive, Harburg confided to me that he based much of the Munchkinland sequence of the WIZARD OF OZ on Hart's rhythmic dialogue sequences (e.g. in LOVE ME TONIGHT).
