| Pearl Bailey missed many performances -- and parts of performances (she sometimes cut out for part of the show) -- during her run in "Dolly." Her absences didn't seem to affect the overall run of the show. Jackie Gleason missed many performances of "Take Me Along" and I think his doing so affected the run of the musical. |
