I have a fun story about this. Back in the day before I lived in NYC or worked in the business I visited in January of 1999. I think it may have been part of the APAP conference, but a friend took me to a presenation of this show. One of those industry things in a studio (been to dozens of these now, but back then it was my first, a total novelty). There was Sally right up close, who I knew and loved from the Closer Than Ever recording. I had not heard of George at that point. I also remember being tickled that James Hindman was involved because I Loved City of Angels and knew he was in the original cast. I remember it was just freezing outside but inside it was so hot and the radiator was hissing. Again a novelty to me cause we didn't have heat like that where I was from. lol. And as a side note I also saw the original production of Parade on this trip, which was a rare treat. My trips were usually in the spring and it would be closed by then. And also, Michael Cerveris in Hedwig at the Jane Street. Yay for a winter visit!
