| The original run with Sally Mayes and George Dvorsky was a marvelous take-off/salute to the likes of Steve and Eydie (and I think Louis Prima and Keeley Smith, probably with some Sonny and Cher thrown in), and the leads were very talented; plus they had some guest artists do their partial nightclubs acts at some point during the run -- I saw the one and only Charo, who dazzled with her personality, stage presence and her superb guitar playing. |
