| Drew Gehling’s performance is so effortlessly charming, his quirkiness genuine and fresh. He and Bareilles are sweet and winning, it lifts the whole piece. I’ve never fallen for the show like many did - it had groupies who saw it multiple times - but this is a lovely capture. |
