| I saw the splendid production of THE LITTLE FOXES in which Laura Linney and Cynthia Nixon alternated roles; actually, except for her second play and the last one (MY MOTHER< MY FATHER AND ME) i like all her plays. Her book for CANDIDE has yet to be improved on. She would have won a Pulitzer for TOYS IN TH ATTIC, but when the two judges sent that title up to the trustees of Columbia U, they pulled a fast one and announced that that years Prize would go to FIORELLO! But i still prefer her plays to Arthur Miller's. |
