Maybe I missed all the chatter because this show has not been on my radar until now, but I could not believe it was about to start previews in a month! I thought it was coming in next season. Out of it here!
Any inside scoop on if the revision is good? I was surprised to read they are scrappping most of the characters from the TV show and it seems basically writing a new story about a group of people making a musical about Marilyn Monroe. I do expect it to include many of the songs I know and love from the TV show and if there are new ones...well I love Shaiman and Whitman so I suppose I'd be happy with those too :-)
Did not love the video of Robyn Hurder and co. singing Let Me Be Your Star (though I have liked her in shows) on my first listen. But I went back and listened again and really liked it the second time. Maybe I was in a grumpy mood the first time. |
