Oh, this incredibly awful revival! The title of John Heilpern's review in the New York Observer was, “Runyon Ruined: Snake Eyes for Revival of ‘Guys and Dolls.'" He ends it by stating: “This unfocussed production assaults the audience... oversold, overproduced and overmiked.” And that wasn't even the worst of them!
