| Tony Roberts co-starred with Robert Morse in the first show I ever saw on Broadway -- 1972's SUGAR. I dimly remember seeing him a few years later in an odd little off-Broadway play he did with Shirley Knight and Jane Alexander. I was working at City Opera when he took the sidekick role in their production of BRIGADOON. I saw it several times and that's when I realized what a skilled actor he was, beautifully underplaying and finding every laugh. |
