| .....even though it readily acknowledges there's not much it can do if Trump follows through with his threatened takeover. The statement makes the important point that, in its 50+ years of existence, the Kennedy Center has been supported and sustained by Republicans, Democrats, and Independents alike. The president continues to show that he views nothing traditional, important, or of any value as sacred -- and that he intends to gut cherished national institutions at will, regardless of whom it affects....or what it destroys. Unforgivably sad! | |
