Thanks for the replies below. I stand corrected that the songs are too high for him to hit the notes :-) But I do think, as several mentioned, he does not have the right kind of vocal quality to deliver them in a way one would like from this role. (a reason I can't stand listening to Hugh Jackman sing Jean Valjean...yes he can hit the notes, but he has a nasally character voice and it's just not right for that music).
