| I've been rooting for Drew Goins, a fellow journalist, on ''Jeopardy!'' and last night, he advanced to the semis of its ''Tournament of Champions.'' Besides his encyclopedic knowledge of trivia and high-speed skill at solving anagrams, he says he and his boyfriend are ''big, big musical guys.'' Asked on Reddit to name his favorite musical, Goins said: ''Ragtime. The sweep! The score! The story! Also an absolutely unreal performance by one Audra McDonald.'' Goins, who writes for the Washington Post, adds that he's excited to see ''Floyd Collins'' and hopes to catch Orville Peck in ''Cabaret,'' too. Here's hoping that Goins gets to tackle ''Broadway'' and ''Musicals'' among the categories during the rest of his remarkable run on ''Jeopardy!'' |
