| I was privileged enough to have seen the original, and I suppose, only production on Broadway with Chita and Liza, twice. Jason Alexander was in the chorus and he stuck out, he had "it". I loved it but, with all troubled musicals, the book needs to be reworked. Off of the top of my head, I see Patti Lupone and Sutton Foster as a good starting point if there's any consideration of a revival. |
