Johnny Green's orchestrations actually improve the score

I haven't watched the film in a long time, so I can't point to specifics, but I do agree. I know some people love the original stage score, but I really have grown to hate a good deal of that original orchestration, especially in its very repetitive nature. I love a lot of the new arrangements that Bill Brohn and Stephen Metcalfe did for the Mackintosh production(s), but yes, the film score is so much better also.
