| Yes, stretching Act 1 of any show into an almost 3 hour movie will result in a paper thin plot. What, they were close roommates at one time? That's the whole story? Then, at the end, the monkeys that were after her are suddenly her servants or whatever? To me, (and yes, I've not seen Act 2 so it's incomplete and I don't know what I'm talking about at all, I have no authority to comment), Wicked has no relation to what leads up to the classic 1939 movie, as far as I can predict. |
