| Wow. Has it really already been a year? It feels like it was just a couple of months ago. What an incredible talent, a true one-of-a-kind. Mlop, do you know if Chita was ever approached to do TV? When discussing Chita we often focus on her incredible talent as a singer and dancer, but I also fondly look back on her razor sharp comedic instincts. Whenever I see clips of some of her old performances, I'm struck by how well she understands the nuances and rhythms of what makes something innately funny. I bet she would have been great on a well-written sitcom ala Golden Girls or one of the MTM-universe or Norman Lear-universe shows. |
