Well, if you're only going to pop up once a decade or so, THIS is the way to do it! You know your audience! Thanks for providing all that detail that we were hungry for. I'm so looking forward to this film and do not want nor think it would be beneficial to get a carbon copy of the original Hal Prince production on film. I trust Condon's instincts -- Chicago is, easily in my mind, the best musical film adaptation of the past... 40-50 years.

It makes me so happy that John Kander is still with us and able to see one of his later works preserved on celluloid. I imagine he's thrilled. How lovely to know that they intended to give Chita a cameo, as they did in Chicago. Graciela is a wonderful alternate choice!

Did anyone from the creative team speak at the screenings?

How would you describe the orchestrations/arrangements in comparison to the original?

Speaking of the creative team, while I think it's absolutely lovely that they reportedly pay tribute to Fred, Terrence and Chita in the credits, I think it would be doubly lovely if they added Hal and Brent to those credits.
