Yes, scroll down the board to the thread ''Bill Condon on his 'Spider Woman'' film, started by Kieran on 1/25/25.
There's a sizable discussion about how all the songs have been cut from the prison scenes and now basically limited to the fantasy musical sequences.
Condon also has said that Lopez has 11 numbers (in 35 minutes of screen time), so that sounds like it's more than ''barely a musical.''
And you might check out my posting ''Update: There are 3 songs from SUNY's 'Spider Woman,' and Condon defends all the song cuts,'' from 1/28/25.
To answer PlayWiz's query, below, I've yet to see anyone list all the Kander & Ebb songs featured in Condon's movie and which ones have been cut. |
