| I think Tamara Tunie is probably better known to the potential ticket buyer than LaTanya Richardson Jackson, because she was on Law and Order: SVU for many years. On the other hand, I've seen almost every member of the cast on stage in the past, and they are very gifted, but Kara Young is probably the only one that might lead to a ticket purchase for a significant number of audience members on the fence. I understand why Second Stage would want her in the show, but it is unfortunate for Ayanna Bria Bakari (if Bakari had wanted to transfer from Steppenwolf). |
