I was there on Thursday night. It was a thoroughly charming production, the orchestra sounded sensational, and Stephanie Corley - who this review notes was indisposed at Saturday's performance - did an absolutely superb job as Susan. They were filming on Thursday night, and the production was far more completely staged than it needed to be given that it was basically just an excuse for a recording session; I look forward to buying the album.

As for the show itself - it doesn't work, but it's fascinating. And the score is glorious.
