Wow that's it! I also remember Burnett appeared in one of the first major AIDS benefits at the Met in NY which also included Bette Midler, Lily Tomlin and others. Burnett was promoting it on The Today Show and Jane Pauley said "Aren't you afraid of alienating some of your fans supporting this cause?" And Carol said something like "if they are upset then they aren't worth it are they?" God bless her. I wonder if anyone who did DO I HEAR A WALTZ or any other theatre that Bryan did is still around and if her bigptry was evident back then or did she keep it to herself
