It’s not just Sunset Boulevard. i’ve been doing nothing for the last four days but track fires, just about on all sides of me. The latest one erupted at 10:30, just eight miles from us. But the winds are down to “normal” Santa Ana levels, so they knocked it down in 90 minutes. The one that started by arson yesterday afternoon began literally down the street from my brother’s house in West Hills; again, conditions are better, so they stopped that one quickly, too. To keep this at least somewhat ATC topical, we have lost Theatre Palisades and Palisades High School, which had an excellent drama club and a student theatre that my kids envied.
