I was there last night and fully enjoyed it. The performances were great, Judy Kaye, Christine Andreas, Ann Kittredge and Walter Willison. The trouble seeing a streaming show of that ..... takes so much away from what you are watching, you are forced to see what the camera picks up. It was a treat having Adrienne Angel who was in the original production covering Ruth (Louise Troy) and others and in the ensemble. Sadly the rest of the original cast has passed away.
I had that problem with Grand Hotel seeing the streaming of it the first time it was done. When I finally saw it live when it was done again, it was amazing. I do have the problem with streaming shows such as those. |
