Years ago my theatre friends said I reminded them of Man in Chair. However, seeing my name mentioned in the same post with Lt. Frank Cioffi is indeed a nice upgrade. I love that the chapter titles of The Show Goes On are lyrics from Broadway songs. It was nice when I saw the Table of Contents to hear Tobias, Fanny Brice, Finch, Dorothy Brock and Billy Lawlor, Roscoe, Cornelius Hackl, and so many other colorful Great White Way denizens serenade me with some of my favorite show tunes. What an incredible idea to begin a book! I literally devoured chapter 1, which brought back countless fond memories of both Beanie (yes, Beanie) and Lea Michele. However, I'm saving the rest of your tome for an upcoming flight with my partner on Jan. 10 to Ft Lauderdale, where we are joining Seth Rudetsky's cruise to the Virgin Islands. Happy New Year! |
