| I've been a champion of Jeremy Jordan's work ever since I first saw him in ''Newsies'' at Paper Mill in 2011. And I did his first major N.Y. newspaper interview - a 2-page spread in the Sunday N.Y. Daily News - after ''Newsies'' moved to Broadway in 2012. ... I also saw his soaring solo of ''For Her'' in ''The Great Gatsby'' at Paper Mill in 2023 and expected that to garner his 2nd Tony nomination, but I guess the show's less-than-glowing reviews on Broadway hurt his chances. Based on ''Gatsby's'' critical reception, it's run much longer than I would've expected. But I'm thrilled Jeremy will be back in ''Floyd Collins.'' | |
